Get a cited answer on your category

One Consumer Insights question, read source by source, exported as a one-pager you can forward.

  1. 1

    Ask one scoped question

    Consumer Insights~3 min

Open Consumer Insights from the top bar. Leave the three source chips on Auto and ask a question that names a market, a category and a period.

    Prompt
How is the [category] performing in [market] over the last two years, and what do consumers say drives their choice?

You getA thread opens with the answer. Each claim carries a pill naming the source it came from.

A question with no market or period gets a vaguer answer. Add both even if they feel obvious.

  2. 2

    Read it source by source

    Consumer Insights~5 min

Start on the Overall tab, then open the Insights tab to see the citations and the Data tab for the figures. Click a source pill on any claim to jump to the tab that produced it.

You getYou know which claims rest on your documents, which on market data, and which on search interest.

If a source says "not consulted", the planner judged it irrelevant. Run it anyway from the banner if you disagree.

  3. 3

    Ask one follow-up

    Consumer Insights~3 min

Follow-ups build on the earlier answer, per source. Ask for the piece you would need to decide something.

    Prompt
Which three drivers matter most for [audience], and what evidence supports each?

You getA second answer in the same thread, narrower and more useful than the first.

Start a new thread when the topic changes. Keep the same thread for depth.

  4. 4

    Export a one-pager

    Export~4 min

Click Export in the thread header, choose One-pager, keep both answers ticked, choose Overall + source detail and tick the sources appendix. Click Generate.

You getA file in the side panel, downloadable as PDF, Word or PowerPoint, and kept under Export for everyone in the thread.

The export is a snapshot. Ask more, then export again if you want the new answers in it.
