Connect from Claude

Ask the alphabrand Data agent from Claude Code, claude.ai or Claude Desktop. You sign in once with your alphabrand account; the connection is yours and works across every organization your account belongs to.

Claude Code

Register the server once, at user scope so every project sees it:

bash
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user alphabrand https://api.alphabrand.ai/api/mcp

Then, in a new session (servers load at startup):

text
/mcp

Choose alphabrand, then Authenticate. A browser window opens on the alphabrand sign-in. Accept, and the two tools are available.

To check the connection:

text
List my alphabrand workspaces

To remove it later:

bash
claude mcp remove --scope user alphabrand

claude.ai and Claude Desktop

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.

  2. Click Add custom connector.

  3. Name it alphabrand and paste the server URL:

    text
    https://api.alphabrand.ai/api/mcp
  4. Save. Sign in to alphabrand when prompted and accept.

Enable the connector in a chat from the + menu, then ask.

Then ask

List my alphabrand workspaces

Same question, off-trade only

The describe step tells Claude which terms your company defines, so it asks in your vocabulary instead of inventing definitions. A follow-up keeps the earlier SQL, assumptions and rows: Claude passes the conversationId from the previous answer back to the server. Each question appears in alphabrand as a project marked MCP; open it there to see the charts.

A first answer takes about half a minute, a follow-up about a minute.
